Agreed. 

It seems from the Gutierrez comments, which lose some of the subtext with an automatic translation, that he was principally objecting to the way that the AN did its job.  This is a similar loss of context that you got when Roy interviewed him on VH and kept cutting him off when Gutierrez was making subtle but important points about political necessities in the process.

Gutierrez is an astute and fairly articulate politician from having heard him interviewed several times and he is not attacking Chavez, as the AP story insinuates.
