As a further comment about price manipulation please consider the following.

I subscribe Investools. Some of you may have seen their ads on tv if you surf through the channels in the middle of the night.

Anyway check out the following chart of KRY (Canada). Note the MACD and the Stochatics lines. They both peaked within the last week. This would suggest the price is headed lower. How much? Well I am not about to give advice here but typically it should fall below the MA (moving average line). If it were to bounce back up off of the MA line that would be great. Also note that the chart prior to Xmas would have suggested a good buying time.

Now please do not plan any trades on this! I am merely presenting some TA that might explain the 'manipulation' argument.
