npmg, when gold was at $600 mineweb had an article about the going price for mining companies by the ounce (showed about 20 recent buyouts)....the prices were based on a "per ounce" basis..costs varied between $50-$220 depending on cash costs/phases of production/etc. but the average price was about $150 per oz......recent buyouts seem to be higher (even in ven, see rusoro/goldfields)....but....at $800 plus per oz. kry has a P&P reserve of 24mil+ oz and low cash costs....here's my conservative:
24mil X $150=$3.6bil, $3.6bil/260mil shares=$13.85 PPS (on buyout)
personally i hope they dont get bought out for a few years...the reserves at LC will continue to grow (larger diameter boring, etc) and i would'nt be suprised if LC became a 40mil oz mine.....imo
