CARACAS, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Venezuela named a new mining minister on Friday, part of a major cabinet reshuffle following a defeat in a national referendum in December.

The government said Rodolfo Sanz, currently deputy foreign minister, would be the new mining minister. (Reporting by Patricia Rondon)
