• The Minister for Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam), Rodolfo Sanz, conducted a tour of the company CVG Alcasa, and met with workers and train management, in order to assess the critical situation both financially and by the work that crosses the reduction aluminio.El Sanz minister, acknowledged that the company is going through a difficult situation, and should make decisions to save the company, after a consensus among the Mibam, workers and management CVG Alcasa.  In this regard, he explained that in drawing up the recovery plan, it is important to know the views of workers operating in the aluminum reduction, because the obligation of the Mibam is to save an industry that is an important part in the region's economy .

Mibam focused on salvation of Alcasa

 He also assured that the adjustments will be implemented technology necessary to enhance the productive capacity of the enterprise, and improve conditions in some critical areas of the plant, where workers are risking their health.

  He stressed that the priority of Mibam, is to analyse the situation of the core businesses, especially the aluminium industry, specifically CVG Alcasa, which last year recorded losses in the amount of approximately 335 billion bolivars strong.

  "CVG Alcasa should be subjected to a thorough evaluation to determine corrective action, and ensure that this company will continue to record losses and billions will be profitable for the economy of the region and the country," said Sanz.

 Similarly, he assured that there were several proposals for the recovery process Alcasa, the eyes of the parties involved as Mibam and the union workers who make life in the company, so it's necessary to find a balance between the approaches both to solve the problems of reducing aluminum.
