admittedly, i knew nothing about kry when i first bought in (i was looking for a "day after" pop and got it, but liked the kry story so i kept some for a gamble). over the last couple years i've learned more about mining/venezuela/kry than i ever wanted to know. today marks the 5yr anniversary of the nationwide workers strike in venezuela to oust chavez.....and very little has actually changed.
i guess what i'm looking for is a common sense explanation as to why chavez purposely cripples the residents in the bolivar state. he forcibly removes small miners to keep them from providing for themselves and then stagnates every operation (not just kry) in the area to maintain a level of poverty. i have no doubts that it is hugos INTENTION to maintain a poverty level existence in this area...i'm just not sure why? also, not sure why the ven people keep him? imo oil prices are the only thing that have kept hugo in office so far and i think kry will probably be in ven longer than hugo at this point. it seems that even the ven people are confused as to why LC is'nt open and artisanal mining areas hav'nt been established.
it all has to do with CORRUPTION is what EVERYONE SAYS (EVEN HUGO)....BUT WHO ACTUALLY BENEFITS FROM A LACK OF PRODUCTION AND CONTINUED POVERTY????? IN ORDER TO HAVE CORRUPTION SOMEONE HAS TO BENEFIT...SO WHO IS IT? I SAY WE FIND HIM......
