"Despite pressures from imperialism, both Iran and Venezuela have high economic growth and continue their development with great speed," said Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a Tehran meeting with Venezuelan Minister of Basic Industry and Mining Rodolfo Sanz.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran sees no limit in offering its economic and industrial achievements to Venezuela," he added.

Sanz, for his part, congratulated Ahmadinejad on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and called for the expansion of ties with Iran.
