Welcome Hugo to the real world. For starters lets look at the players- XOM with revenues of 390 Billion and then the COUNTRY of VZ GDP -190Billion(not counting FARC drug flow from Columbia). This court finding is the 1st shot, of many,across the bow of Hugo's failed ship. VZ (Hugo) can promote & conduct business lawfully within the country and the world or HE can chose to be marginalize(ie. have no money to buy products internationally that his country and people need because multinational corp's like XOM put holds and sanctions on VZ accounts). VZ  people(NOW) don't have basics(milk, eggs flour etc because of price controls so companys just don't produce the product because they lose $$$). A Country cut off from the rest of the world without products needed daily is ripe for a revolution and Hugo is too smart for that to happen. His only choice is to relent - open up the sanctions, encourage production of everything and issue permits that wil produce jobs and prosperity.
