Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Ian...I second NoBears "welcome aboard!". I have to believe that KRY is working behind the scenes (even employing the help of the Canadian ambassador) to make that argument and get the damn permit rubber stamped. I think that they are being very careful\diplomatic about not making this a public issue (even though it is a public company and shareholders own it) because this might jeopardize their efforts. Assuming this is the case, I'd rather have management remain mum on the details of their behind the scenes efforts rather than potentially piss off some bureaucrat and make matters worse. Of course, there could be other reasons for delaying the permit known only to the Vz government. If they want to go to a joint venture as part of the new mining law, for example, it would make sense for the permit to be delayed until Vz. notified KRY management of this slight change in plan. I think the deadline is July for this whole mining law thing to be resolved.
PS: Keep posting your take on bid\ask share price action. As a stock market novice I find this informative.
