KRY 101: The Facts You Need to Know 21-Oct-07 03:19 am

1. The Vennies already own the mine.

2. KRY has a legally binding operating agreement (MOA) with the state-owned CVG to develop, build, and operate a mine at Las Cristinas.

3. KRY is a Canadian company. Canada and Venezuela have been good trading partners for decades. Rules governing their commerce are spelled-out in a bi-lateral trading agreement.

4. The Canadian ambassador helped facilitate discussions between KRY/GRZ/MinAmb during during the 2006 foreign trade meetings at Mararita Island and recently in the State of Bolivar.

5. The Vennies respect private property. In recent nationalization efforts, fair market value was paid to the likes of Verizon, and others.

6. KRY has already invested over $200M in the VZ economy to develop the mine and for social projects such as roads, housing water treatment facilities, and medical clinics. They will spend another $400M to finish the mine.

7. The Vennies/CVG get close +40% of the revenues without putting up a singe penny to develop, build, and extract the ore.

8. KRY will employ 2000+ locals. VZ will receive additional revenues from the workers' income taxes paid.

9. MinAmb has an ecological disaster on their hands with illegal miners poisoning the local rivers and forests with mercury.

10. KRY will extract the ore in an environmentally friendly manner and stop the release of mercury.

11. Roy S. Carson: Ok, how much time will that take?

Ricardo Gutirrez: One week.

Roy S. Carson: One more week?

Ricardo Gutirrez: In one week, we will be solving that, yes, starting Monday.

Roy S. Carson: What do you expect after that? For the President to give the green light or what?

Ricardo Gutirrez: Yes, the President could even lead a special event there at the mines, and not only give the definite approval for the Las Cristinas production to get started, but that he will also inaugurate a broader, more general project, because its not just about about mining at Las Cristinas, but also in a wide geographical area where there are some similar problems to those at Las Cristinas.

12. EXCLUSIVE: Crystallex will not be affected by any mixed company changes!

14. Similar action is expected to be taken against US-based (but Canadian listed) gold mining Gold Reserve which claims a concession at Las Brisas del Cuyuni ... despite the fact that the Venezuelan government is rescinding all concessions in favor of mine operating contracts similar to that of Crystallex de Venezuela C.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toronto-based Crystallex International.

15. DJ Venezuelan Lawmaker Report Backs Crystallex Gold Mine Permit
-CARACAS (Dow Jones)--Members of Venezuela's congress published a report that called for the government to issue the needed permit for miner Crystallex International Corp. (KRY) to begin gold production.
