I have only spend a couple of weeks in VZ and a couple in Equador and am not a Latin American specialist by any means, I have spend significant time in major capitols working for Disney in Hong Kong, Toyyo and Paris.  The thing that struck me about Caracus and Quito is that they are a world apart from North America.  What we do and say up here they do not know about and confidently do not care about.  You can find CNN at the Hilton but do not expect much more.  No one in Caracus is waiting with baited breath to see what Bloomberg reports.

Bloomberg has been a very unreliable source over the last couple of years.  RM has 250 employees in VZ and you have to accept that he knows exctly what is going on in VZ.  I suspect that he has wanted to report more but had no news.  Whether this environmentral bagel loving babe is afraid to sign the permit or wants to protect the sacred motherland from foreign devils remains to be seen.  The fact that RM spoke to Bloomberg and that Sanz is involved is very positive.
