Augusto Hernandez
President Chavez selected 69 candidates who will compete for favouritism for 15 of them integrate the directive PSUV. The revolutionary leader explained that due exclude many comrades with merit to such positions due to the infeasibility of a long list to be revised by tens of thousands of voters.
Albergo some reservations about the method to be adopted for this election. The finger of Chavez remains the main factor in any choice and we 9 years in the plan. Also anticipated as the first vice president to appoint Gral. Müller Rojas, I applaud that selection, but that it was unnecessary to declare ejecutivamente.
For my part I would like to outline some basic criteria that could provide commissioners, spokesmen and delegates selecting the directive PSUV. 1) - Loyalty. It requires comrades unable to desert and join the enemy. 2) - The ideological coherence is imperative. They must be authentic revolutionary. 3) - Independence criterion, urgent people capable of sustaining their ideas without fear to offend anyone. 4) - Honesty is essential. It should investigate the background of any candidate. Finally we should favor the characteristics of humility, youth, courage, professionalism and brainpower.
I do not intend to form a "dream team" as in the big leagues or football, but I believe that some compatriots with less resonance official or media must enter the directory. Among women differs Vanessa Davies, a journalist and campaigner for HR. Antonia Munoz, Ma. Cristina Iglesias and Socorro Hernandez for their actions in government and against the coup. I regret the absence of Iris Varela, whose value is undeniable and also that of Luis Tascón.
Among young people, Hector Rodriguez, brilliant leader university. Complete with Freddy Bernal, Ali Rodriguez Araque, Carlos Escarrá, Aristóbulo Istúriz, Rodrigo Cabezas, Rodolfo Sanz, Vladimir Acosta, and Margarita, Gonzalo Spain.
