Caracas, 20 March ABN. - Given the enormous potential that has Venezuela for the mineral operation like aluminum, iron, coal and gold, the Ministry of the Popular Power for the Industries Ba'sicas and Mineria (Mibam) it devises a strategic plan that it allows to relaunch the activity of mining the basic industries and in the country.
In this sense, the holder of the portfolio of the Mibam, Rodolfo Sanz, indicated that the exposition is to execute this plan in a maximum period of three years.
"The Venezuelan basic industries have an obsolete technology that generates stops indices of environmental contamination, as well as the necessity to invest a high sum of money in the relaunching process", commented Sanz.
It indicated that following orders of president Hugo Chávez Fri'as, the Mibam applies 3R (revision, rectification and I reimpel) in these national companies.
"One of the goals is to establish agreements with the labor force, because cases like the one of Bauxilum exist, where the employees take 78% of the production costs", emphasized.
 It also mentioned the case of company Alcasa the aluminum, that suffered lost during 2007 by the order of the 400 million strong bolivars, leaves from it because 47% of the production costs went to the labor force.
It emphasized that the sector of the iron is the one that is in better conditions and offers more satisfactions. ' I can name to Ferrominera Orínoco, company that thanks to a capacity of extraordinary production has invested around 300 million of dolares in plants of mineral concentration of hierró, it indicated.
In last instance one talked about the sector of gold, saying that the operations must be rearranged, since Venezuela is a land rich and important in minerals and of strategic nature to impel the mining industry.
"For this reordering we counted on the support and the will of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana, the Mibam, the unions and the political actors of the region of Guayana", emphasized.
