By the end of 2008 finish the first batch of graduates of the Bolivar UBV

The graduation of the second Promoting Technical University of Venezuela, Bolivar nucleus in the presence of the president of the Republic, Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, accompanied by the Minister of People's Power for Higher Education, Luis Acuna, as reported Sergio Garcia, coordinator of the UBV Bolivar. The act of graduation will take place at 4:00 pm at the premises of the University in Ciudad Bolivar. This event will be broadcast simultaneously with the graduations of the nuclei of Maracaibo and Caracas.
The II Promotion "Simon Bolivar" brings together 229 senior technicians from three new training programs: Social Management for Local Development with 70 graduates, Environmental Management with 140 students and Social Communication with 19 graduates.
Projects
These new professionals will make formal surrender to the President of the Republic projects made by the Student Council to improve the campus, said Mary Migdalia Sanoja, a member of the Council. "We express proudly which is the first Student Council is organized within the UBV and 350 spokespersons who integrate are working to strengthen the infrastructure of our university."
The proposal made by students includes the construction of the annex there to establish the kitchen and dining room, as it is the only campus that lacks this service. It also provides for a residence hall, health clinic, sports and cultural fields, laboratories and workshops, all under the order of 24 billion bolivars investment. "We hope that the President approve the entire project," said Sergio Garcia.
Another of the projects to be carried out is the creation of a commission Exit which would be responsible for handling matters related to the job in the government. In the same vein, Garcia announced that talks have been held with the directors of CVG and its companies protected, Pdvsa and the government of Bolivar state, so that all new technical professionals have at the earliest possible date to a place of work which enables them to continue to develop as a professional and thus continue investing in the development of the region.

Social Communication: graduate in this program will be trained theoretical, technical and axiológicamente, in the areas of social communication, intellectually creative, and full ethical foundations of the Constitution to meet the challenge of creating a new communications scheme.
Environmental Management: graduate of this program will be aware of the responsibility in the fight against the causes of poverty as one of the most important environmental problems, improving the quality of life, rehabilitation, conservation and preservation of the environment within the context of the implementation of the existing legal framework, institutional transformation and community participation.
Social Management of Local Development: the graduate will be able to serve as competent staff to manage and work processes socio-community social networks, social organizations, public and private institutions, agencies and national and international organizations, public and private enterprises; educational institutions and research centres.
