Workers at Sidor showed total jubilation at the decision of the Venezuelan State to nationalize the industry. This was emphasized by Jose Melendez, a member of the Single Union of Industry Workers and Allied Steel (Sutiss), via a telephone contact with the program In Confidence, which transmits Venezolana de Television.
