That is my point, exactly. If there really were a ton of people selling then it would have been instant. But it was IMHO controlled selling by the MM to make it look like major selling.

Buy the way, I got filled at $1.81, but in incremental lots. My point was if there were so many selling and I accidently entered my order above the ASK, it should have been filled at the ASK but instantly and in one lump sum.

The MM matches buys to sells and tries to match sizes. Only one of my fills was more than 300 shares which means no one in the ASK was selling large quantities. The delay also shows me those sellers were not realy that motivated
