Alfredo Villarroel, representative of the miners in the municipality Raul Leoni, reported Thursday that the owner of the Ministry of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam), Rodolfo Sanz, will meet with the operators of sites to discuss future plans and the destruction left by the restructuring, which wiped out entire villages without any increased output.
Such a meeting, to take place at the headquarters of the Ministry of People's Power for Living in Ciudad Bolivar, is highly anticipated by the thousands of people affected by the recent eviction of illegal areas of La Paragua and other municipalities. However, such departures were made without respect for human rights, which repudiated the miners, who are now on the streets as beggars.
Villarroel and in the past has explained the situation of his comrades in various government agencies, in recent days delivered a dossier of more than ten books to a member of the National Assembly, which should elevate the case to find a way out.
In the case of this encounter miners are anxious to get concrete answers that derive from the misery in which they live because of the conversion, which instead of bringing good, marked forever destroying their workplaces and even some lives his companions.
