I read the article as do you, it doesn't place Sanz in a very favorable light ... but the question has been what was Hugo's bidding in our instance, the outcome that we experienced or one for him to yet repair. Hopefully the later. If this is his bidding I would think that should become clear within the next few days ... the fact that it still seems in question is some reason to be hopeful of one of the other scenario's that have been floated. That may just be wishful thinking on my part.
