Mibam studying relocation of small miners in the state Bolivar

Caracas, May 03. ABN .- The Ministry of People's Power for Basic
Industries and Mining established a working committee to deal only to
solve the social and economic difficulties facing the miners at La
Paragua, El Callao, St. Helena, lard, Las Claritas Basins and the
Caron?; all populations located in Bolivar state.

A communiqu? of Mibam states that the holder of the office, Rodolfo
Sanz, undertook with independent miners to relocate them in other
alternative activities such as agriculture.

"President Hugo Ch?vez told me that we must recognize the work of
miners with justice, and we will do that. The idea is to structurally
change the situation of small-scale mining in the country, "said the
minister.

In this regard, reported that it is designing a comprehensive plan of
work that considers the relocation of the miners who are still en la
