Was is not Bill Clinton that tried to parse the word "is"?
Anyway one more post and I am going out for some mind-clearing exercise.
Part of the KRY shareholder info release last week reads
"has become aware that the Director General of the Administrative Office of Permits at the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources of Venezuela ("MinAmb") has issued a communication to the Corporacion Venezolana de Guayana ("CVG"), the owner of the Las Cristinas concessions, denying a request for the authorization to affect natural resources to carry out exploration activities in the mining area of Las Cristinas in Sifontes, Bolivar State."
Part of the GRZ shareholder info release last week reads
"announced the VenezuelanMinistry of Environment ("MinAmb") has communicated its plan to rescind the March 2007 permit for the commencement of the constructionphase of the Brisas Project (the "Authorization to Affect")."
Now in one case (KRY) is indicating "denying a request ... exploration". Note the word 'exploration'. Would KRY not be happy to just start digging the gold up and not worrying about exploring for another 10 years?
The other (GRZ) indicates that from its point of view that its a 'plan' to rescind. Not that it is actually rescinding.
What's my point? We are all attempting to interpret, or in Clintonian fashion 'parse'. Now of course the Market sure parsed us right down below $1. But in some respects it like the game when sitting around the fire out at camp. The first person whispers something into the next person's ear and so on until the last person repeats what he heard and you know darn well it won't match what was said in the beginning.
So let's just hope that this is the Venz way of trying to sort out their mining mess. After all (and dont throw stones at me here) the US has had 25 years to try to sort out its gasoline/oil issue. And no I am not wanting Venz to even take more than a month to come to some KRY resolution.
