Mr. xxxx, the Company and CVG were also blindsided by the letter, its position and implications. We are actively working to gain full understanding of the scope of the letter, its full effects on the project and thus the appropriate steps to deal with the letter and situation. Unfortunately last week was a big holiday week in Venezuela and those that weren't off were consumed with problems and labor issues surrounding SIDOR.

We believe there are steps to deal with the letter.

We have Crystallex reps in country and will update shareholders once we have information beyond the April 30th news release.

Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

Can you advise the status of CVG's actions and confirm they are in discussions with the appropriate Ministers of the MinAmb and Mibam to resolve our recent controversial news? And who from KRY is working with those CVG officials to get answers so you can advise your investor base on current activities around the Las Cristinas project.

Also, can you comment on why no news has been communicated from senior officials verifying the news and whether Mr Sanz has any comment specific to the news? Given the reason for permit denial was sited as environmental and that it has been confirmed to CVG that all environmental issues have been addressed by the same agencies that denied it can there be other reasons that you have become aware of that caused the permit denial? What does this really say to the rest of the global world about investing in VZ?

Richard, I appreciate the position you may be in, but understand that many investors are absolutely shocked about the recent developments in the Las Cristinas project. What they are looking for is direction from the company and any update is appreciated. Is there any chance that this is or was just a mistake from a low level official and that the error can be reversed?

Thanks in advance.
