At the risk of being redundant, this has always been about Hugo and his egocentricities ie. Mighty Mouse "here I come to save the day". The detour from that has been "why not award my loyal friends with the opportunity to make a lot of gringo $" by the planned announcement of an invisable director driving the stocks down. The IN crowd scoops up the cheap shares over a few days/weeks delay while concerned longs sit on the edge of their seats waiting for an announcement from the King. Hugo reinforces his loyal supporters trust with $$$, creates jobs, adds to VZ coffers with renegotiation of contracts and at the end of the fairy tale everyone is happy. This type of manipulation has been happening for decades in 3rd world and bannana republic countries that have large mineral/agricultural resources whereby the country claims they have low supplies(but really have a lot) of the commodity which drives up the price and they sell into that demand. Hugo is using a similiar ploy with a commodities in demand GOLD/OIL and more specifically the shares of those companies. The ploy has not affected oil stocks as much because they are sooo large, but with GRZ & KRY it has a major effect. The end game of this manipulation will be as the fundamentals dictate - for all the right reasons KRY & GRZ will be mining gold in VZ.
