Jetfan,
An excellent find. When one stops to review the accomplishments that Sanz has attained since taking office in Jan it's incredible.
First, he had the aluminum issues at CVC Alcasa in Puerto Ordaz, then onto nationalizing the steel industry and dealing with union contracts, next completing the road show in rural gold communities of Bolivar; to discuss environmental concerns related to gold mining, small miner demonstrations, road closures, and last, but not least, firing several managers from CVG Minerven gold mining subsidiary, and believe me, there will be alot more pink slips to come during his house cleaning.
Sanz is a man on a mission and is the Minister who is going to be the most influential politicial with whether Crystallex and Gold Reserve get their meal ticket or not, and trust me that Hugo is listening to him. I believe he is in our camp as outlined in the article-
"It was not therefore surprising that Minister Sanz went through the roof on being advised of the Las Cristinas scenario and other decisions dropped from a great height by “Sin Verguenazas” at MinAmb. It was clearly in direct violation of all concepts of governmental decency that a contractor who had already spent $ millions on vital infrastructure and more, should be told, quite frankly, to “go to hell!” in a handbasket!"
I'm convinced we will get the green light for development this week!
