It's acutally 15 business days, which I believe would make it June 2. Ortega was the one that said that Chavez would decide within a week ... so maybe he didn't. The fact is that Vz law currently allows for open-pit mining in that area of the Imataca forest as per Presidential Decree yata-yata-yata. Chavez has until the end of July to change that. If he doesn't, then it will take NA approval to change it. So that is the real drop dead date in my opinion.
