President of AN met with Russian Parliamentary Delegation
At the end of this meeting, the head of the delegation said that the visit aims to exchange experiences that have both the Russian Federation and Venezuela on the topics of energy, environment and foreign policy

The deputy Cilia Flores, president of the National Assembly on Wednesday received in his office at the Delegation of the Parliamentary Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russia.
On this occasion the delegation was led by Nikolay P. Churkin, first deputy chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Protection; Vyacheslav E. Kolotvin, deputy director of the International Relations Office of the Federation Council; Nikolay V. Kosarev, vice president of the Committee; Bato-Zhargal Zhambalnimbuev, a member of the Committee; Alexandre N. Lotorev and Denis A. Abakumov, First Counsellor of the Committee.
As part of the National Assembly were accompanied by the president of Venezuela Friendship Group, Adel El Zabayar and Director of International Relations, Carmen Linares.
At the end of this meeting, the head of the delegation said that the visit aims to exchange experiences that have both the Russian Federation and Venezuela on the topics of energy, environment and foreign policy.
"We also want to take those experiences and successes in various fields for use in our country, and that Venezuela could build on and implement some of ours," said vice president of the Committee, Nikolay P. Churkin.
In his second day in the country the Russian parliamentarian said that feels very grateful for the hospitality he has received, and said to feel pleased what he has seen and people he has known.
For his part, MP Adel El Zabayar, Group President of Venezuela-Russia Friendship noted that the main purpose of the visit of the parliamentary delegation of the Russian federation is to enhance interparliamentary relations and exchange with representatives of United Russia Party on changes that occur in that country, as well as those that occur on our own.
"They have a very broad experience in the political and social life, and know about some of which are developing in Venezuela."
