CJR, I have believed throughout that the elections were our best chance of leveraging our position. The PSUV is struggling in popularity and Chavez will need to pull out all stops. The region needs employment to pacify the electorate. The loss of the referendum should have had the PSUV moving in a more progressive fashion. A defeat at the polls will have a crippling affect on the Chavez government. VZ articles are reporting attempts by the PSUV to suppress the opposition. The lack of information being disseminated may be an indication that they are having success.
