My initial response was surprising as I find myself looking at the optics of why the resignation. I also, ask myself why I was not able to get through to Richard Marshall today and now I possibly know why. In some case the removalbe of a CEO is good and sometimes not good and when I try to see what visibility GT had, I do need to put on rose colored glasses as I do not recall seeing much visibility period. In any case the market will tell us what it thinks tomorrow about GT's resignation, but is appears they have attempted to repair the damage with all the infilling etc. I am inclined to think the resignation was a surprise as the SP did not flinch otherwise it would have leaked out some how.

I do like Infoejoe's analysis and insite as to the sacrificial lamb senerio. I don't know if we will ever know and who knows perhaps he has had enough of the permit fatique or saga of KRY.
