While I personally have no added concern with GT leaving, I mean he was terrible at presentations and rarely communicated with us, his departure has only resulted in a light volume sell off.
I got a very quick response from RM to an email this morning:
Hello xxxx, while the optics may look poor, the Company believes it's in a solid position. The MinAmb action makes no sense based on the Law, Policy, and historic actions relating to this project, industry and region.
The resignation of a CEO is never viewed favorably but does not impact our position or expectation and I believe was a personal decision by Gordon.
We do believe Minister Ortega and the MinAmb position is isolated and we feel the EIS demonstrates that the area of interest at Las Cristinas will actually improve environmentally by advancing the project. The local communities and indigenous communities are very supportive of the plans and see it as a logical improvement to the area.
The team continues to work on dealing with the MinAmb stale mate.

Richard Marshall
