gw, i completely agree with you on this one....ortega is sounding a whole lot more like THE MINING POLICY MAKER than the environmental minister here.....and she seems to have no love for miners of any kind.....oil drilling seems ok though....

she said "no open pit mines"....that pretty much cancels venz bauxite/iron/coal industry....

she said they'd "consider underground mines" but it would depend on "what was left for the state".....i thought it was the CVG/AN/HUGO's job to cut the best deal for ven...

again with "no mining in the imataca" (THE SCARY PART IS THAT NO ONE IS CORRECTING/ARGUING WITH WHAT SHE IS SAYING)...
