Deliberations in Buenos Aires environment ministers of Mercosur

Ministers and officials in the areas of Environment of the member countries of MERCOSUR and associated States discussed this Thursday in Buenos Aires, starting at 9, meeting to be chaired by Romina Picolotti, the secretary of the Environment and Sustainable Development of the Republic Argentina, the country holding the presidency pro-tempore of the regional conglomerate.
The meeting will take place at the San Martin Palace-headquarters of the Chancellery-argentina, and between the axles to address by the official representatives listed the steps taken by each country on climate change and biocumbustibles; the issue of competitiveness, trade and environment; environmental management of waste, air quality and combating desertification, land degradation and the effects of drought.
So far, have confirmed their attendance at the conclave Minister of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment of Uruguay, Carlos Colacce; Minister of Environment of Paraguay, Carlos Antonio López Dose, the Vice-Minister of Environment of Brazil, Izabella Texeira; Vice-Minister of ordinances and Environmental Management of Venezuela, Merly Garcia, executive director of the National Environmental Commission of Chile, Alvaro Sapag.
It will be recalled that under the exercise of the Presidency pro-tempore of MERCOSUR, Argentina will host the XXXV Meeting of the Common Market Council and Summit of Heads of State of MERCOSUR, which will take place on June 30 and 1 July in the town of San Miguel de Tucuman.
