Here's how I see it:
Evaluation is never done at current price. Like oil stocks, gold producers are measured at prices lower than current. Lets go with $689 just for fun. GG has a P/E of 60 but I think Kinross is more apropos at 40. Ven discount of 40%. P/E multiple of 24 for kry. Annual production - low estimate - 286k, high estimate 500k. Lets go with average 393,000 oz/yr. Earniings 393,000x$350/oz ($689/oz-$339 cost to produce)= $137,550,000/337,000,000 shares = $0.408 annual earnings per share.
Multiply by 24 = stock price of $9.80
Now that is what I consider a bargain basement price for KRY.
