Chavez described the tour "successful"

The first national representative said that "Venezuela is going to be a power, referring to the signing of agreements with the countries he visited, since these alliances will strengthen our development process."
The president Hugo Chávez, described as "very successful" his tour of Russia, Belarus, Portugal and Spain, acotando that Venezuela occupies "an important place in the world." He assured that all projects agreed upon with Russia are preparing to strengthen the Draft National Development Simón Bolívar.
"Signed a series of new agreements in the energy area, the Orinoco Belt, the largest energy project is on the planet," he said.
In this regard, said that will continue increasing oil production, "we are one of the few countries in the world that can increase production."
About the alleged installation of Russian bases on national territory, Chavez reiterated that it was "a sinister orchestra that we pursued everywhere."
"That was not a mistake (for international news agencies), it is very difficult to install in Venezuela (...) never any basis for any foreign country," he said.
Also referred to the agreed financial alliance with Moscow, which will be represented, as pointed out by the creation of a binational Russian-Venezuelan bank.
"Venezuela is going to be a power, these alliances are to strengthen our development process," he said.
Moreover, the first representative stressed that it will be the first time in history that will be sent crude to Portugal.
"They propose strategic alliance to PDVSA even go to Portugal to invest (...) in storage and processing crude," he added.
