I concur with you it probably is a done deal with Jesus Arnaldo Perez as the new Venezuelan Environment Minister replacing Ortega. I believe this has occurred at least in principle since Ortega has be silenced and when Jesus get's around to accepting the job it officially will be a done deal.

When you take a look at Perez's credential's he has already held down the portfolio as the Environment and Natural Resources Minister in Venezuela for the term 1999-2000, so he knows the system and has the experience. The other item noted in his credentials that jumped out at me was his title as Ambassador of Venezuela to Canada from 2005-06, so we can be rest assured he is well versed on the Las Cristinas Saga.

I believe he's the man for the job! No offense Optionsgal. LOL.
