This has happened to me also, the explanation given KRY traded in three exchange in the US buy order are placed on the most liquid exchange for that stock, sometimes trade may go below bid on the less liquid exchange, although KRY is listed on the AMEX its also traded on the NYSE and Nasdaq, missed out on the buy but was able to get for a few pennies less the next day
