Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but the idea that GRZ got their permit 2 weeks after a site visit is an urban myth started on the Yahoo KRY site and has been running ever since.

I have spoken to Doug B of GRZ on this and he is quite definite that there was no official site visit 2 weeks before the permit. There had been site visits by different officials but they were a months or years before the permit.

There was no site visit before they revoked the permit either, despite the wording of the revocation that stated that there were illegal miners on the Brisas site. In truth there have been no illegal miners on Brisas for at least 10 years!
