with regard to cemex..the biggest factor here is that chavez still only nationalizes by sector (not by company)...i dont see him nationalizing the russians....he also paid over $800mil for a majority interest in two cement companies that combined have the same production capacity as cemex (cemex wanted $1.20 bil, or, a 50% premium to what ven was offering)...i'd guess you'd have to sell a lot of cement to make $1.2bil....silverbullion had it right imo, it's about how much hugo can squeeze...like any good government.

on a personal note....you sure all seem to have your panties in a bunch considering we've been green (and have had some good news) recently.....
