Yuvirí Ortega: Bolivarian Aqueduct will be ready for the last quarter of the year

An inspection conducted by the Minister of People's Power for the Environment (MinAmb), Yuvirí Ortega, with the purpose of knowing the progress of the Bolivarian Aqueduct, the water infrastructure of the country's longest (181 miles long).

The holder of the Environment announced that for the last quarter will be ready this important work of the Bolivarian Government, which will provide water supply at Falcon State for agricultural irrigation, as well as benefit from a system of drinking water to more than 600 thousand inhabitants (44% of the population of the entity) in the region.

Among the works being carried out in the Bolivarian Aqueduct highlights a pumping station, three sub-tranche pipes, purifying plant, and two sections of pipeline that will elevate the quality of drinking water supply to 2.5 cubic meters per second, for two major cities of the state Choir and Punto Fijo.

He reported that investment reaches more than 942 million Bolivars Fuertes that will generate 700 direct jobs thousand and five thousand indirect benefit to the populations of municipalities falconiana WALL, Buchivacoa, Tabajuro, Urumaco, Miranda, Carirubana and tanks.

Assured that will continue with the monitoring of various works out by the Ministry among them: the Yacaracal of Aqueducts and Mapararí; pipes Tocópero; gaps in Butare, in addition to the contribution of trucks to collect garbage in the falconiana entity, in conjunction with the regional government on water, sanitation and landfill.

He insisted that the work does not culminate with the construction of the plant, but that should generate a movement endogenous with the support of community councils to meet the different needs and services of the population.

The governor of Falcon state, Jesus Montilla, expressed his gratitude towards the Minister of Environment, since in his view, personally supervise the works will allow better monitoring and speed in the comp
letion of infrastructure works.
