The last significant VZ permit announcement that affected a company’s pps was the GRZ announcement about a year and a half ago. It was nothing but a bureaucratic event as far as Venezuela was concerned. I believe the process of permit issuance has been discussed many times over the course of the last couple of years and RM has reported that they came with zero fanfare with very little warning. I would suspect the same here. The physical permit is nothing to Chavez. He gets no political points for pleasing the shareholders of KRY. Politicians don’t get exciting about building permits, they like ground breakings and ribbon cuttings.
