Those articles say they are not only rioting for jobs and housing but also for pensions and credit (loans). KRY's help and participation with the jobs and housing we know about, but do we then believe that the pensions and loan demands will be met by Hugo? I doubt it without him receiving another new shot of cash from somewhere. And without that, what do we guess the miners would do if KRY were to receive the permit and begin mining operations while the pensions and loans issues are ignored by Hugo/Sanz? Would that then make us involved up to our necks in their latter two demands? Would the miners work for us or do more striking? This is a tough nut.
...and the articles mentioned the people are hungry, and now. Makes waiting another 2 weeks seem pretty awful.
Yet, it also said something like appx 800 people were rioting on behalf of some 10k people involved. That also sounds like it is possibly arranged rather than real.
Not sure what to think.
