Rangel will intercede to ensure compliance with commitments made with miners in the Caroni Basin

(Government Press / CNP 15,070) .- The state's governor, Francisco Rangel Gomez held a meeting with miners from the Caroni River, who raised the issue that is affecting today in connection with a payment processed before the Ministry of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining, which accounted for its divestiture of the Basin and that has not yet been canceled.
He also said that this debt acquired with about 6 thousand miners, as expressed by the Mibam, was already in the process of cancellation because the payment was already ready, however, representatives of the Ministry reported that it would not do for now and Nor when we were going to do, a situation that generated the conflicts that occurred in recent days. Likewise mentioned that there are at least 3 thousand miners who have no ticket to cash, thus needing help to remedy this situation otherwise.
In light of this, the state president, accompanied in addition to the PSUV candidate for mayor of Raúl Leoni, Yusleibi Ramirez and some of his executive train, after listening attentively, promised to intercede with President Chavez, after he returns of his tour, so that the miners in the Caroni River Basin will be canceled commitments.
He also urged them to continue settling into cooperatives and communal councils, in order to facilitate their integration into other activities that generate income, in fact advised that promote tourism in the town Raúl Leoni, as it is safe for entry their homes.
Rangel also recalled that the governor of Bolivar, for the sake of strengthening the process of mining, delivered in the town Raúl Leoni various appropriations, through the Fund Bolivar, for the benefit of farmers, fishermen and other producers to contribute to the development of municipality.
