It pissed me off as well CJR. These type of posts seem to be more and more numerous here on Agoracom. I have not posted as much because of it. I'll be the first to say that most of my contributions are pure fluff. There are others who dig and have good avenues for tracking information and I am very thankful that they bring what they learn back here to the board. However, I feel that it is very important for someone to voice an opinion or offer support without having to go OT. That is what attracted me to this board initially. Sorry to say that now there is so much nit picking now that it turns me off. Thought I was the only one feeling this way and have remained silent.

When the big boys say "politics belong OT" that is understandable, but unfortunately many new people with good ideas and valid contributions are being intimidated from participating/posting because they can't do so in a manner that will be accepted as relevant breaking news.

You do an incredible job here with fact finding, giving opinion and offering a much needed lightness to the board. I hope you don't change who you are and what you do here because of a few irritated posters. This board would suffer for it.
