President Chavez inaugurates Venezuela International Tourism Fair 2008
Accompanied by the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Olga Azuaje, the president made a journey through the different exhibitions every state that conducts country, which demonstrate its benefits tourism.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, on Thursday inaugurated the International Tourism Fair Venezuela 2008 (Fitven) that takes place in the Bolivar state, specifically in the museum's Caroni.

Accompanied by the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Olga Azuaje, the president made a journey through the different exhibitions every state that conducts country, which demonstrate its benefits tourism.

Until next October 05, will be exhibiting at tour operators, visitors and VIPs, the potential tourist state guests, among them Barinas and Miranda.

The minister stressed that Fitven aims to boost development of tourism in the country and reported that 195 Venezuelan companies involved.

In this issue highlights the participation of the Commune Councils for the development of social tourism. During the fair will also conduct forums on the topic of tourism and will be awarded scholarships to area students.
