hondo, one problem with that plan.....aside from the fact that you'd have currencies that are actually backed by a commodity working in a world of currencies that are'nt backed by anything (trade would shut down).....

from my one or two visits to wal-mart i'd say the U.S. also buys some chinese goods....

if these countries create thier own currency (and dont value it fairly) they will force the US to redevelop it's industrial machine....which i think will happen anyway....

man, i'd rather discuss the feasibility of time travel..this stuff gives me a headache...
