The words "cutting off your nose to spite your face." come to mind.

A vote against granting options is a dumb move, in my opinion. I don't care if the management and directors get rich off these shares... in fact I HOPE they do! I'm way past being resentful towards Company officials. They are the people we are relying on to secure our permit and get us all out of the mess we are in. They must be compensated. We must also be in a position to attract the right people when the time comes. Saving cash by granting options instead of cash salary/bonus is icing on the cake... we must preserve cash right now - extremely important to minimize our burn rate.

I will be voting yes... many, many times...
