Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
GW, it would not take 10 years, and any VZ assets throughout the world would be subject to seizure to satisfy the claims.
Don't get me wrong...I think that this is all about Venezuela securing a better deal. Just felt like throwing some gasoline on the fire for fun. We know Venezuela just won the award for being among the top 3 corrupt countries in the world (at least they are good at something). IMO Ortega's "bombshell" was no mistake (spelled state-sponsored corruption rather than incompetence). This is more of the same to knock our shareprice down for the renegotiated deal. Anything is possible but I think we will have a deal proposed for shareholder review by the end of this month. Whether that "deal" sees KRY mining the gold in a "joint venture" arrangement or selling at an artificially, corrupted low price to a mining entity with Russian ties is yet to be seen. I don't put any more faith in all this talk about "mining in 2009" than in any of the other claptrap the media has been spewing. The most distasteful scenario would be if the Vens did NOTHING....let us wither and run out of money with no communication\clarification.
