Mineonmoney, a couple of interesting reads. In particular this part:

(Venezuela and Algeria, although Stratfor is quick to note that the long-term stability of the Chavez regime is not necessarily a safe bet)

What is he implying? Maybe Mr. Chavez's days are numbered?

Does anyone have a sense as to Mr Chavez's popularity these days? From what I read crime, poverty, inflation, unemployment etc are all up and one would think the population would finally get it. Or does the population think he walks on water and is still their savour?

Also, in another post of Mineonmoney's, it talks about Mr Chavez's reluctance to get the mining projects into production that could have gained the support of the population by providing jobs and hope. In stead, he has created distrust in the investment world where good mining companies with good mining skills will be reluctant to invest in VZ while Mr Chavez is in power.

It does appear that Mr Chavez is operating by his own agenda and will not stop at anything to get it. The people of VZ need to see it and stand up for themselves. Unfortunatley, it does little for us retail investor who invested in KRY while we continue to wait for a response from VZ, which no doubt will be from the the dictator himself, Mr Chavez. I would brase for the unexpected what ever that brings....
