I think it's a good idea. We must remember that so far we only have rumours and innuendo. It's not clear what Sanz actually said.

Still, we have had long delays, permit denials on shaky grounds, and the recent rumours etc. have travelled around the world.

It seems apprpriate to send a heads up to the appropriate ministers and let them know that we are watching and waiting and that we will expect them to be there for us if this really turns sour.
