" modified an earlier CICPC statement claiming 4,000 kilos stolen to 4,000 grams (128.6 troy ounces)"
They seem to have a problem with decimal points in Venezuela; millions become billions, grams are reported as kilograms and production of almost everything is reduced to obscure statements and empty talk and there is never any action or actual work performed.
4,000 kilos is 4 tonnes; that's the present entire annual output of gold for the country according to Sanz, that assumes of course that he knows the difference between tonnes, kilos, ounces billions, millions etc.
None of the reporters seem to have any clue either. If they did they would question this garbage before they put it in print.
And why would anyone carry bags of cement OUT of a gold mining/processing plant? They could hardly be producing cement!
