Without officially knowing the outcome of the meeting, I believe the shares were not approved, therefore, weren't exercised.

I have to admit I may be confused a bit but that is my take. I don't quite understand why options are granted then approved instead of a pool approved then granted but we should see filings reversing the others that were granted but not approved.
