All small Miners want the cash offered to them years ago.
Some small Miners want the "re-training" offered to them years ago.
Some small Miners want to surface mine concessions.
Some small Miners want jobs in large mines. They don't care who the operator is.
Surface mining will not get at the gold @ LC.
The jailed Chancellor individual is irrelevant at this point. Just like Vargas has been irrelevant. Vargas was on our side but no permit. So what does it matter about this Chancellor fellow. Answer is, he doesn't matter.
Haven't all the people on this board read what Crystallex filed on Friday? This is all up to Chavez as to what and when and the path getting there.
Back to small miners. Don't you people know that Crystallex has donated milling equipment to the local miners @ KM88 area? I bet those local miners like Crystallex. Don't you people know that Las Cristinas is bigger than just what Crystallex has a contract to operate? Not to mention the KM88 area. LC will be commercially mined not by local small miners with garden hoses and pick axes.
We have moved passed all of these local articles telling us anything. I would rather Chancellor be against us than for us. Looks like 3 years in jail hasn't helped his point of view. His softening comments to Rangel will not gain traction regarding the decision Chavez has to make regarding Crystallex. Clearly Rangel and Chavez have spoken as to their opinion of Chancellor.
Chavez is the bottom line. What he will do I don't know but I doubt he cares what Chancellor thinks. Rangel and Sanz can help and the August 22nd letter from Minamb stating Crystallex conforms to environmental and social programs doesn't hurt.
It is easy to see who the daytraders are on this board and the people that have sold and want the price to stay depressed.
